CPF Contribution Changes from 1 January 2025

The CPF monthly salary (Ordinary Wage) ceiling has been gradually increased from $6,000 to $8,000 by 2026 for all employees. This adjustment occurred in four steps to allow employers and employees to adapt to the changes:
From 1 Jan 2016 to 31 Aug 2023: The OW ceiling was $6,000, and the annual salary ceiling remained at $102,000.
From 1 Sep to 31 Dec 2023: The OW ceiling increased to $6,300.
From 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2024: The OW ceiling further rose to $6,800.
From 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2025: The OW ceiling reached $7,400.
Employees earning above $6,000 will benefit from this change. The annual salary ceiling, which limits the total amount of Ordinary Wages and Additional Wages attracting CPF contributions, remains at $102,000. It will be periodically reviewed to ensure it covers the majority of CPF members. The CPF Annual limit also remains at $37,7401.
